Chris's GT

The GT is now sitting on 15 inch BBS rims with 195/45 rubber. Next step will be to drop it with a set of springs
Colin has been giving me a few pointers to sort out my interior. The side panels are going to be recovered in black. I've cut the humps out of the rear panels and let in some MDF to make them flat.

This is roughly how they will look. Now they ar flat I can install component speakers in them.

The car has been lowered 70mm all round
The old 1600 engine has been pulled and a MK3 Golf GTi motor fitted.
The rear end has been converted to discs and the front end has uprated GTi discs.
Inside, the dash from a Mk3 golf GTi has been fitted.

Our new winter rides. Chris has a rapid 1.3i GT and I've picked up a loaded 2 litre Passat. Both will get a few mods this winter.

Well, for the first time in a long time it's not raining so I dug the Porsche out of the garage and gave it a good going over.

The engine bay cleaned up well

lets hope the weather lasts so I can get a bit more use out of it.

no posts for a while from me, bloody tinternet has gone down at my house so iv borrowed a mates computer to write this, but trust me iv been busy, plenty of posts ready to go for when i get back online.

me being me I can't leave anything alone for long ...

firstly I dropped a set of discs on the front courtesy of Dr Slam .
got a pic somewhere ........ but its not the most excitin pic in the world

front bar and 4 kc daylighters fitted sorted the front right out
and as for the 1300 -
ripped it out -


heres one I prepared earlier - 1641 fast road cam and dellorto 40's

seemed to fill the gap quite nicely and is a stopgap till I get the BIG motor sorted for it

and is a little quicker than the old one!
